During the initial stages of band development in 2003, costs for equipment were entirely funded by the Band's
members. As the members and the music gelled, and as the group demonstrated its potential to be a great source
of entertainment, Pipe Major Craig Lightbody sought donations from community businesses in order to fund the
purchase of uniforms and drums.
